How the availability form works
The form on our homepage does not send data to our server. When you press Send on WhatsApp, your browser opens WhatsApp with a message pre-filled from what you typed. You choose whether to send it. Until you press send in WhatsApp, we have not received anything. Once sent, the message is transmitted and stored by WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, and is visible to us in our WhatsApp Business account.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become bookings: deleted within 12 months.
- Resident records, including ID copies: retained for the duration of your stay and for the period required by Mumbai Police guidelines and applicable tax law after you leave.
- CCTV footage: overwritten on a rolling cycle.

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We disclose it only:
- To the Mumbai Police, for the mandatory verification of residents.
- To our payment providers and bank, to process and reconcile payments.
- To Meta Platforms, where you choose to contact us over WhatsApp.
- To Google, in the form of anonymised analytics and advertising measurement data.
- Where we are required to by law, court order or a lawful government request.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected or completed; have your data erased where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected or to meet a legal obligation; nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and raise a grievance.

Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Physical records and identity documents are kept in locked storage at the property with access limited to management. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Zest Stays 1054 accommodates adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
